What Is Change to Win?
The Change to Win Federation is made up of SEIU and six other national unions representing more than 5 million workers.
The basic principle uniting Change to Win unions is that workers cannot win a better life unless more workers belong to unions, and unless those unions have the focus, strategy, and resources to unite workers in their industry and raise standards for pay, health care, pensions, and working conditions.
At the federation's founding convention in 2005, members pledged to focus their efforts on uniting the 90 percent of workers not yet in a union so that all working people in this country can build the power to make their voices heard in their jobs, their communities, and in Washington.
